Addison got her first bloody nose. she got hit with a baseball right in the face. OUCH!!!

this is jackson's first real bath and yes, it was when he was over a month old...it took that long for his imbilical cord to fall off. He wasn't too impressed with the bath. he screamed the entire time

3 Months old today
Wow!!! where does time go? jackson is already 3 months old today. i started back at work last week-boy was that hard. much harder this time. i must admit i enjoyed my time being a stay-at-home mommy, and it is very sad to have to go back to work. jackson is getting so big! not even exaggerating on that one. we took him to the dr. on saturday because he was sick and of course they weighed him....he is now a whopping 17 pounds 5 1/2 ounces and is only 3 months old! one of the nurses said that is how much her baby weighs only she is 7 months old. YIKES!!!! I am going to have some nice biceps lugging this boy around. Addison has gotten him to laugh twice now, and much better than when either brock or I have. I will try to post the video we got of him giggling. he is a little chatterbox and wants to know what is going on and not be left out AKA wants to be held all the time! :) I still have a bunch of pictures i need to post as well. i will try to do that one of these days. just wanted you all to know we are doing well.

2 month appointment
So, Jackson will be 10 weeks old this week, but he had his 2 month appointment this morning. He is getting so big. he weighs 15 pounds 9 ounces, which puts him in the 98th percentile for his age! he is 24.5 inches long which puts him in the 93rd percentile for height. he also had to get 3 shots today :( poor little guy! he honestly looks like a 6 month old not a 2 month old. he holds his head up so well, and he is a little chatterbox. he loves to smile and talk to you. i have gotten him to laugh once last week, but haven't been able to since. Addison is such a great big sister always wanting to help (sometimes too much :) ). Jackson likes to be upright and see what is going on, which means he wants to be held and he wants you to stand up at all times. means i don't get much done when he is awake, but that means i get lots of cuddles. hopefully i will have some more pictures on here soon. just waiting for brock to help me.
