addison took swimming lessons in august. she was very timid at first and it took her about half of her lessons before she would stick her head under the water. anytime the instructor would take her out in the pool to practice something, she would cling to the poor girls neck and not do anything. brock was beginning to wonder if this was a good idea. finally she got a little brave and one night she pushed away from the edge without floaties on and ended up going under and brock had to grab her out of the water because the instructor was out in the middle of the water with another kid. she was pretty much traumatized after that and wouldn't do anything again until the last day of class. oh well, she had fun!
