jacksons's 6 month appointment

jackson turned months old on august 23rd. he had his 6 month appointment on sept 12 (6 1/2 months old) and he weighed in at 21 pounds 11 ounces (95th percentile) and he was 27 1/2 inches tall (78th percentile) and his head is in the 80th percentile. he is getting so big. he started crawling 2 days before this appointment. up until then he could get around but it was rolling or pivoting on his butt. he can go from his tummy to his back to his tummy and he pivots on his butt to get place to place. now he is crawling all over the place and pulling himself up to things. he is eating anything we give him. the dr. said that he is doing things that they look for at a baby's 9 month appointment, not his 6 month appointment. he said that at 6 months a baby should just be sitting up and rolling from tummy to back to tummy. what can i say? my little guy doesn't like to sit still and he has a big sister to keep up with. he is a much happier little boy now that he can move and get where he wants to go. he doesn't like his bouncer quite as much anymore, and i think it is because he is stuck in it, and he can't go anywhere. he loves his big sister and starts to cry when he thinkgs she is being hurt. we will wrestle with her and when she starts laughing really loud, he gets upset. it is sure fun to see him grow and see how different addi and jack are.
