Addison coloring
Addison loves to color or write or read books. her new favorite thing to play with is a pen and a calculator. she will walk around the house with those 2 items for hours and be totally content

addison is intrigued by the rocks and dirt chunks, and everytime we go to check out the house, she wants to go and see all the rocks. we even had to bring one home because addison would not put it down.

where did the summer go?
sorry I haven't been so good at posting lately. life seems to go by so quickly and there never seems to be time for anything. Addison turned 15 months old yesterday, and had to go to the doctor today. she weighs 22 pounds 8 ounces, and she had to get 4 shots. it is amazing how smart little ones are. as soon as we went back to the room, addison started fussing, and when the nurse wanted to weight and measure her, she clung to my shirt with a death grip. I literally had to pry her fingers off of me.
the last couple of weeks have been....crazy!!! we did get to go home to glendive for a weekend and visit with family, and when we came back, I ended up going to the doctor to find out I had strep throat. they gave me some antibiotics, and on the last day of the medication, I had an allergic reaction to it and was covered in hives and itched like crazy. I got over that, and brock got bronchitis. while we were home in glendive, addison developed a rash from head to toe,(still not sure what from). so, needless to say, the doctors won't be out of a job anytime soon.
my mom and dad and sisters were up this past weekend, because nichole is getting married next summer and wanted to try on wedding dresses. so we spent a few hours at the bridal store trying to find the perfect dress and everything that goes with that.
our house is coming along. they put up the trusses last week, and called about windows today, so those should be going in pretty soon. it is very exciting to make our "weekly wednesday" trip after work to check out the progress on the house. i think we have picked out everything that needs to be picked out and are just anxiously waiting to get into our very first house!
other than that, work is busy, for brock and i. addison is growing like a weed. she loves baths and would stay in the tub for hours if we let her. everytime she is in the tub and i ask her if she is ready to get out, she scowls, shakes her head and says "NO". she is a little jabber box, and tries to mimic everything you say. she took a couple of headers this past week. first into a chair a ended up with a couple of bruises on her head, and then yesterday, did a face plant into the floor and now has a fat lip. i am sure the doctor was wondering what we did to our poor child at the appointment today. :)
